FAQ

    • The Atlantis Submarines tour is a once in a lifetime experience!

    • The experience starts with a short trip on a tender vessel to the dive site where you will be transferred to the submarine. Once on the deck of the submarine, you will be guided down a short ladder into the interior passenger area. Inside the submarine, it is spacious enough to walk to your seat where you will find large windows which provide excellent viewing for each passenger. The passenger area is air-conditioned and maintained at normal atmospheric pressure. After all are seated, the hatch is closed and the dive begins.

    • The tour starts with a descent to the ocean floor where you will reach depths of 100 to 150 feet below the surface. The crew on-board will guide you around the coral reefs, fish, and sea life. The maneuverability of the Atlantis submarines places you within inches of the ocean floor and reef. The time spent underwater in the submarine is approximately 45 minutes. Once the tour is complete, the submarine will surface, and you will be guided back onto the tender vessel and transported back to the dock.

    • The submarine descends to a maximum depth of 150 feet, but tours are typically at a depth of 100 feet or less to witness the most sea life and colors of the reefs.

    • Most Atlantis Submarines have a capacity of 48 passengers. Passengers have access to a comfortable seat and large viewports to enjoy the tour.
